Accepting Jesus

If you’d like to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior of your life then I invite you to pray this prayer:

“Jesus, I believe that you died on the cross for my sins and were raised from the dead.  I ask you to forgive me of my sins and to come in to my heart to live.  I invite you to be Lord of my life and direct my paths.  In Your name I pray, Amen.”

It’s that simple, my friend.  Don’t believe me?  This is what Romans 10:9-11 says, “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in Him will never be put to shame” (NIV).

If you prayed that prayer and believed it in your heart then you can know with confidence that when God calls you home one day that you will be with Him in heaven.  John 3:16 tells us, “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life” (NIV).
